jawknee-unamerican asked: Who's your all time favorite bass player? (It's not really a personal question, but I hope you'll enjoy the it just the same)

This is great, thank you!
I have a few favourites; Mike Dirnt particularly his bass throughout Insomniac, he has been a great big inspiration for me, especially when I first started out. I love Matt Freeman and Paul Simonon as well. When I first started playing bass I got some flack because ‘punk bass is just three notes fast playing with a pick and it doesn’t require any talent’ but these three have constantly reminded me that there is no reason to feel like I can only play straight forward songs in my silly little punk band (but I’m not going to pretend I hate playing simple, fast and fun.) My bass I play with most is named Pauly so I suppose I will go with Paul Simonon as my all-time favourite.

furonfire asked: where did you get that belt from though ? I desperately need one but I can't find a decent one online.

I bought the five ring belt from drstrange, they also have lots of great variants (some white and ones with more rings etc.) xx
